Our Drive to Red Lodge

We drove over the Bear Tooth Mountain to Red Lodge for lunch.  It was the first day the road was open. In fact we were the first car going west to east. You wouldn’t believe all the snow.  Some places it was 20 to 30ft. Deep.  People were still skiing up there.  This is June in Montana.  We came home by way of the Chief Joseph Hwy.
What beautiful scenery.  Montana is such a beautiful state.

What a beautiful place

Flying Across the Gallatin River

What a great day we had last Thursday.  We went Zip Lining over the
Gallatin River.  7 of us went from Yellowstone.

The setting could not have been better.  It was were the movie A River Runs Through was filmed.  The rock formations with the river below was just beautiful.

You fly twice across the Gallatin River.  You have 3 zips and 4 adventure elements  (bridges that you have to climb to). What a fun day and we all lived to tell about it.

I can't believe I'm up here.
