WINTER WONDERLAND

IT STARTED SNOWING ON THUR and ended Friday night.  We received about 6 to 8 inches.  This is the first snow we've had since arriving here so we were ready to go and take pictures. We have the next two days off - lots of time to ride around
and take pictures.
Off to breakfast we go trying not to fall.  Every thing is iced over. Next we have to locate our car which is buried under lots of snow.  The doors are frozen shut. Temp 23 degrees. LIFE IS WONDERFUL IN THE COLD NORTH.
The following pictures were taken as we rode around the park:

BIG SKY RESORT
Love Mountain at Big sky
Today was a beautiful day so we took a drive to Big Sky Resort for lunch (300 miles round trip). It was a great drive, lots of people fly fishing along the way.  The rivers are perfect for fishing early this year, because of the low snow fall.

The Lower Fall with snow

WE HAVE ARRIVED AT YELLOWSTONE
We arrived at Yellowstone a week ago Sunday. We got our room that afternoon and after many  trips to Bozeman for things we have finally made it our home for the next 4 months.
Checked in for re-training on Weds had the next afternoon off and started work on Friday. Than had Sat and Sun off.
We’ve made many trip to Lamar Valley to check out the
wildlife.  Have taken a couple of hikes to get back in shape.
Work is slow so we are getting a lot of time off.
LIFE IS GOOD
The following is some picture as we drove around the park.

Orlando to Yellowstone
It’s that time of year again. Nancy one and two are heading west. We hit the road on friday 3/17.  First stop Memphis to visit with Bill and Mary Ann (one’s brother).  They always take such wonderful care of us.  Both are great cooks-so of course we eat well. Bill took us on a couple of photo shots.  One was to Beale Street famous for Blues. It was cherry blossom time in Memphis. The trees were everywhere and just beautiful.

We stayed Page, AZ one of our favorite place to stay.  Got up to
see a beautiful sun rise over Lake Powell.
