We have Company

Bull Elk on way to Old Faithful

Old Faithful area

Nancy and her mule

Mary Ann - Nancy - Bill - Nancy

Nancy's brother Bill & sister-in-law Mary Ann come out to visit for two weeks. Of course we had to show them our favorite National Park "Yellowstone". The first Thursday we had off we took them to Old Faithful.

We were lucky-on the way we saw two bull elks with huge racks. Of course we stopped for pictures. Than on to Old Faithful. We did all the tourist things like watching Old Faithful-lunch and of course shopping.

On Friday Bill and the two Nancy’s hiked Beaver Ponds. It’s a hike that starts right behind our dorm and go up for 5 miles. Great hike lots of wild flowers-no beavers but there that was a black bear seen by some other hikers which we had to watch out for. Luckily we did not run into it.

To make the most of the day we than went on a 2 hour horse back ride up into the mountains. This was the ride from h---. I ended up with a mule-with ropes for reins.. We can laugh at it now-but we couldn’t wait to get back to the barn .To think that we paid good money to do this.ill
