Yellowstone weather up-date

It's just beautiful

Winter is still hanging around.  The whole park is under  blizzard  conditions.  The East entrance is closed due to several avalanches.  It’s been closed for weeks.  Most of the  roads in the south part of the park are also closed due to deep snow. You can not get from the Old Faithful area to Jackson.  Jackson is also snowed in. From Mammoth were I’m working going east they have had a rock slide so that part of Yellowstone is also closed.  In the Grant area 4 of the employee’s cabins have collapsed and 26 guest rooms have had their walls pushed in by the snow  We have been very busy in reservations with all the cancellations.

 We are the only part of the park without  snow.  We have green grass and flowers.  The bison are having their babies-the elk will in the next two weeks.  We are seeing lots of bears.
